World Trade Center
Site Tour On the weekend of September 11th, 2005, the Tribute Center will offer the first of its docent-led walks around the World Trade Center site. In March 2006, The Tribute Center will open as a visitor and learning center located across the street from the World Trade Center site at 120 Liberty Street. The tribute exhibitions and programs will be created from the personal stories of those individuals most intimately and directly affected by the tragedy— survivors, families and others who lost loved ones, downtown workers and residents, rescue workers, and volunteers. Visitors will meet the people whose stories memorialize this extraordinary time.

St. Paul’s: Center Of Reconciliation At 9:30 a.m. on September 11, with Holy Eucharist, St. Paul’s Chapel will be installed as a Chapter of the Community for the Cross of Nails, an international reconciliation ministry.
St. Paul’s
Sycamore On September 11th 2001, debris from the collapsing World Trade Center towers knocked over a century-old sycamore tree in the yard of St. Paul’s Chapel. Seeing the roots as a metaphor for connectedness and strength after tragedy, sculptor Steve Tobin used it as the base for a massive bronze sculpture cast at his Bucks County, PA studio. The sculpture will be dedicated and installed in a permanent location at Trinity Church at Broadway and Wall St. on Sept. 10, 2005. The original roots, painstakingly preserved by Tobin with the help of experts, will eventually be returned to reside permanently at St. Paul’s Chapel.
