Jessica Watson received her BA in studio art
from Wellesley College, and an MFA from Milton Avery Graduate School
of the Arts at Bard College. Her
work has been exhibited at Art in General, Massimo Audiello Gallery,
the PS 122 Artwurl Online Gallery, and most recently, at the Sean Kelly
Gallery, all in New York. Her work has been reviewed in the Village
Voice and the New York Times.
Watson’s work deals with a fixation on specific objects and scenarios
as well as the artist’s relationship with the everyday world. Her
photographs are meditative and deliberate, yet experiential and spontaneous.
