Born and raised in Taiwan, Chang moved to New York City in 1997. In an artistic career that stretches over a decade, his works have been shown in many solo as well as group exhibitions. In 2004, Chang received a grant for outstanding artists from the National Culture and Arts Foundation of Taiwan.
