Albert Heta, ArtsLink Fellow Albert Heta was born and lives Prishtina, Kosova. Solo exhibitions, public
projects and interventions include It’s Time To Go Visiting: No Visa
Required, public intervention on British Airways Billboards in Prishtina, Happiness-
Independence Day: 1 Minute, the appropriation of the speech of the UN Administrator
of Kosova aired on public television of Kosova in 2001; Kosovar Pavilion Venice
Biennale 2005, La Biennale di Venezia 51, distributed by e-flux: www.e-flux.com;
and Embassy of the Republic of Kosova, Cetinje, SCG, 5th Biennial of Cetinje,
which took place in Dubrovnik, Cetinje and Tirana. Heta has exhibited and published
his work extensively in Eastern Europe. Select group exhibitions elsewhere
include Museo de Arte Conteporaneo in Santiago de Chile, Chile, Marronnier
Art Center & Insa Art Space of the Korean Culture & Arts Foundation
in Seoul, Korea, and Kunsthalle Fridericianum in Kassel, Germany. Albert Heta
is the founder of Stacion-Center for Contemporary Arts, Prishtina.
