Angelo Angeles, On-Site Assistant

A resident of Staten Island, NY, Angeles received his BFA in Painting from the School of Visual Arts in 2003. Since then, he has worked in various non-profit arts organizations and art spaces, through volunteer work and internships, throughout New York City. Such places include LMCC, the Association of Hispanic Arts in El Barrio, Cuchifritos Art Gallery/Project Space in the Lower East Side and Sculpture Center in Long Island City. In that time, he has participated in group exhibitons, such as Assorted Cuchifritos at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center and Kollaging Kick at the Cuchifritos Art Gallery/Project Space in the Lower East Side. He was also an artist assistant for Chang-Jin Lee's Homeland Security Garden public art project at the World Financial Center.
