What is Workspace? Workspace is our flagship artist residency program. We provide artists and writers working in diverse mediums and genres with free studio workspace for nine months, as well as access to a community of artists, professional development opportunitues, and a modest stipend for materials. The residency culminates in an Open Studio Weekend when studios are open to the public. Check out the 2007-2008 Resident Artists.
There's a Paris Residency too. The Council offers artists the opportunity to live and work at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France.
Who's been here before? See our past residencies including the Gulf Coast Artists Residency - a temporary residency program in Lower Manhattan for 14 artists displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
