Writers Laura Braciale Laura Braciale was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1983. She grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and later Houston, Texas. Laura received a BFA from Cornell University in 2005 and an MFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2007. Since graduating from RISD she has lived and worked in Houston. Laura's work has been included in several group exhibitions in Providence, Philadelphia, and Houston. She has recently shown at CTRL Gallery in Houston where her 2007 solo exhibition was featured as a Critics' Pick on Artforum.com.
