Writers Aaron Gilbert Aaron Gilbert (b. 1979) holds an MFA in painting from Yale, a BFA in painting from RISD, and an Associates in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State. Aaron was an affiliate fellow at the American Academy in Rome in the summer of 2008 and a Jacob Javits commended scholar in 2007. He has exhibited paintings and/or video in group shows at Deitch Projects in NY, Marc Selwyn Fine arts in LA as well as galleries in Providence and Barcelona. Aaron previously worked as a CAD and Engineering Technician in the biomedical industry.
