OVERVIEW

Through five-month residencies at the World Financial Center, co-sponsored by the center’s Arts and Events Program, LMCC has returned artists to a site as close as possible to ground zero. The artists, working in diverse media, have studios in the center’s courtyard gallery and will create site-specific, temporary projects that will be on view in the center’s complex. The location’s architecture, open spaces, and corporate and retail cultures all will play key parts in that expression.
