Allied Productions, Inc. is a non-profit umbrella that incorporates many artists and organizations. Since 1981 Allied has sponsored pioneering non-profits like ABC No Rio. Current organizational associates include The Film Maker’s Cooperative, Mix NYC and Inbred Hybrid Collective. Allied’s main project is the development and maintenance of the community garden Le Petit Versailles. Allied has transformed an abandoned lot into an extraordinary community garden and multipurpose arts space. For nearly ten years, Le Petit Versailles has been home to countless art exhibitions, performances, readings, film screenings, meetings, workshops, and more.
Allied’s Swing Space production project is Pestilence, a multi media opus in progress conceived by Jack Waters. Other work at Swing Space involves the development of Allied’s consortium based membership, and the archiving and preservation of the static and variable media that Allied has generated for nearly three decades.
