Asuka Goto
Workspace 2009-2010
Asuka Goto received an MFA in Sculpture from Tyler School of Art and a BA and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Studio Art from Brandeis University. She is the recipient of several awards including, the Joan Mitchell Foundation MFA Grant and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts Individual Creative Artist Fellowship. In 2008, she received the Dreyfus Foundation Fellowship to attend the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, and in May 2009 she received a Full Fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center. Goto was recently selected for a fully funded two-month residency at Sculpture Space in Utica, New York.
