Bang Geul Han

Bang Geul Han was born and raised in Seoul, Korea. Han earned an MFA in Electronic Integrated Arts from the New York State College of Ceramics, Alfred University in Alfred, NY and has a BFA in Painting from the Seoul National University in Korea. She works across a variety of media ranging from watercolor to digital video and computer programming. Based in the US since 2003, she participated in the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture (2007), the MacDowell Colony (2008), the Triangle Artist's Workshop (2010) and the Artist Alliance Inc's Lower East Side Rotating Studio Program (2010). She is a recipient of the 2011-12 A.I.R. Fellowship.
