Daniel Turner

Daniel Turner was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and received a BFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions at The Union Gallery, New York; USSA Fine Arts, Brooklyn; envoy enterprises, New York; Chrysler Museum of Art and Hermitage Foundation Museum, Norfolk; Gregory Lind Gallery, San Francisco; Contemporary Art Center, Virginia Beach; ORG Contemporary, Detroit; Walter and McBean Gallery, San Francisco; Boulevard es Brezsnyev Gallery, Budapest; Preteen Gallery, Hermosillo, Mexico; and Josef Schwarz, Cologne. He is the recipient of three major grants from The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and is a current visiting artist at New York University’s Steinhardt School.
