Esperanza Mayobre has participated in numerous group shows in the US and internationally. Including the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Bronx Museum, Smack Mellon, Printed Matter, the Jersey City Museum, MIT CAVS, Periférico Caracas. Recently her work was featured at the Rich Gallery in London, the Gallatin Galleries in New York, was part of the Skowhegan Talk Lectures Series: Maria Elena Gonzalez and Esperanza Mayobre, at Artist Space; and el Proyecto TAGA - Colección Mercantil in Caracas, Venezuela. Her work has been reviewed in The New York Times, Artnet, Arte al Dia and Artforum. Born in Caracas, Venezuela. Lives in Brooklyn, NY.
