Hanna Sandin

Workspace 2008-2009

Hanna Sandin received a BFA from RISD in 2003. She resides in New York, as an artist and as the sole proprietor of her line SAMMA. She received the Emerging Artists Fellowship from Socrates Sculpture Park in 2005 and at A.I.R. Gallery where she had a solo exhibition, (ROOT(FRAG(ADVP(RB as)(IN if)(..))). Her work will be included in an exhibition curated by Michael Nevins at Gallery Susan Tarasieve. Sandin is currently sending out an addendum to the 1974 Voyager message, and finishing works bridging the visual to verbal. Sandin’s recent sculptural works reference syntactical structures through the form of the mobile.
