Jason Villegas

Workspace 2010-2011

Jason Villegas was born in Houston and currently resides in Harlem. Villegas melds animal, machine, luxury, cosmology, microbiology, evolution, and globalism into an absurd and engaging mythology of consumption. His work has been published in Art in America, Art Lies and the LA Times and exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Contemporary Art Museum of Houston, Phoenix Art Museum, El Museo Del Barrio, Museo Tamayo and Exit Art.
