Julika Rudelius

Workspace 2008-2009

Julika Rudelius was born in Cologne, Germany. After a career in publishing and photography, she studied at the Rijks Academy (Amsterdam) where she discovered video. In 2006, she participated in the ISCP residency (New York) and has lived there since. Solo exhibitions include those at the Swiss Institute, Centre Culturel Suisse, Stedelijk Museum Bureau and the Westfallian Institute of Contemporary Art (forthcoming). Her work has also been exhibited at the Tate Modern, Bard Museum, Brooklyn Museum, MOCA North Miami and the Umjetnički Paviljon, Croatia. Most recently, she completed Rites of Passage for the Heartland exhibition (VanAbbe Museum and Smart Museum).
