Paul Mpagi Sepuya

Paul Mpagi Sepuya is a Brooklyn-based artist who makes photo-based portrait, zine, and video projects. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in New York, Los Angeles, Basel, Sydney, Toronto, Paris, and Berlin. His work has been featured and reviewed in BUTT, Interview, Capricious, V, Paper, OUT, and The New York Times, among others. His first monograph was published in 2008 by envoy enterprises. He has guest lectured at NYU, SVA, and ICP in New York City and at Overgaden Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark, and participated in HomeBase IV residency in New York City this spring.
