Arts Services

LMCC presents a suite of free workshops and intensive seminars on timely issues in the areas of business and professional practice as essential support to artistic practice and community/audience engagement. These programs are designed specifically for artists living and working in New York City in an effort to foster learning and dialogue, as well as create robust and expanding networks for participants.

“Way beyond my expectations. The level of organization, depth of topics, caliber of speakers…I wish it wasn’t ending.”
–Participant in LMCC’s Basic Finance for Artists

LMCC develops its roster of speakers and session leaders to bring the most relevant information and resources to workshop participants. Basic Finance for Artists and the Artists Summer Institute are annual intensives. Additional opportunities, that may be enjoyed as a series or as à la carte workshops may be found under “Workshops & Talks.”

All programs are free and require registration. Acceptance is either on a first-come, first-served basis or via lottery.
