We are committed to hands-on professional training to help artists pursue their practice and their career goals. Our workshops and seminars are carefully designed to cover relevant topics from fundraising, public art, legal issues and finance.

Artists Summer Institute

The Artists Summer Institute (ASI) is a free, five-day professional development intensive for 55 New York City artists working in all disciplines, offered through a partnership of Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and Creative Capital.

Basic Finance for Artists

Basic Finance for Artists is a free, concentrated six-week program that helps individual artists develop financial awareness and balance through practical training in money management.

Uptown/Downtown

Uptown/Downtown is an eight-week workshop and performance opportunity for 10 performing artists developing short works for presentation.

Workshop Series

Monthly Workshops are offered throughout the year to help artists and arts professionals hone skills in marketing, fundraising, budgets, project management and more.
