As part of its 30th anniversary as a leader in the field of community grounded cultural centers, the Caribbean Cultural Center/African Diaspora Institute, in collaboration with NYUs Tisch School of the Arts, is hosting a conference the evening of June 8 and all day Saturday, June 9, 2007 titled SUSTAINING VOICES FROM THE BATTLEFIELD:  Community Grounded Cultural Arts Organizations @ 30.
