Announcing the Urban Artist Initiative

The Association of Hispanic Arts (AHA), The Asian American Arts Alliance , The Harlem Arts Alliance, the Queens Council on the Arts, and the National Museum of the American Indian/ George Gustav Heye Center - in partnership with the Bronx Council on the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts – announce the continuation of their groundbreaking consortium grants program, the Urban Artist Initiative/New York City (UAI/NYC). Fellowship grants of $2,000 will be awarded to artists in all areas of visual, literary, and performing arts for individual artists of color that self-identify as of African, Asian, Latino, or Native American descent and who reside in one of the five boroughs of New York City.
