Admission to all events is FREE.

Brooklyn’s Antibalas expand the musical language of Afrobeat developed by Fela Anikulapo-Kuti in late-‘60s Lagos, Nigeria, adding Latin, jazz, and classical elements to their funky mix.

Ogans, an Afro-Brazilian band that blends highly explosive traditional and pop rhythms, incorporate capoeira into their mix of music and dance, featuring influences from samba and reggae to axe and hip-hop.

DJ Rekha’s long-running “Basement Bhangra” and “Bollywood Disco” parties define South Asian dance music, combining bhangra, Bollywood, and big bass. She’ll be featuring highlights from her forthcoming album, DJ Rekha Presents Basement Bhangra.

Trojan Records has been defining reggae, dub, and dancehall since 1967, and to celebrate their 40th anniversary DJ James F!@#$%^ Friedman will spin a set of classics and hidden treasures direct from the Trojan vaults.

Exclusive — “In the Pocket” will feature a special bhangra vs. reggae “soundclash,” with DJ Rekha and James F!@#$%^ Friedman battling for the crowd’s love by spinning the most crowd-pleasing tunes!
