Grantee Award Logos & Guidelines

Acknowledging our support

LMCC provides support for artist projects in Manhattan with funding from New York State and City agencies. By accepting a grant award, grantees make a commitment to publicly acknowledge LMCC and its funders.

It is important for grant recipients to properly credit and acknowledge the funding. Below are instructions, as well as the crediting language and downloadable logos that grantees should include in all print & electronic promotional material related to activities supported by the Fund for Creative Communities (the Fund) and/or Manhattan Community Arts Fund (MCAF).

THE FUND FOR CREATIVE COMMUNITIES (the FUND)

Funding Language:

Include the following language in all programs, press releases, and other printed material related to activities supported by the Fund:

[PROJECT TITLE] is made possible in part with public funds from the Fund for Creative Communities, supported by New York State Council on the Arts and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.

In addition, during the grant period, add the following two entries to the lists of contributors in all programs, press releases, and other printed or electronic materials of the grantee:

Lower Manhattan Cultural Council
New York State Council on the Arts

Logos: 


Logos for LMCC and NYSCA should be included in promotional materials when including the complete credit language is not possible due to space limitations. In addition, logos for LMCC and NYSCA should be included in places where grantees include logos of all its funders. Download the logos in electronic formats below.

MANHATTAN COMMUNITY ARTS FUND (MCAF)

Funding Language:

Include the following language in all programs, press releases, and other printed material related to activities supported by MCAF:

[PROJECT TITLE] is made possible in part with public funds from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, supported by the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and administered by Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.

In addition, during the grant period, add the following two entries to the lists of contributors in all programs, press releases, and other printed or electronic materials of the grantee:

Lower Manhattan Cultural Council
New York City Department of Cultural Affairs

Logos: 


Logos for LMCC and DCA should be included along with the complete credit language in promotional materials as well as in places where grantees include logos of all its funders. Download the logos in electronic formats below.

Final logo placement must be reviewed and approved by LMCC prior to publication.

Please be sure to note that you are a recipient of the Manhattan Community Arts Fund or Fund for Creative Communities grant to ensure all pertinent logo placements are reviewed.
