- Amas Musical Theatre & PS/MS 34-Franklin Delano Roosevelt School
- Passport Around the World is an 18 week in-school residency with Amas Musical Theater and the thrid grades of PS 34, Franklin D. Roosevelt School. Classroom teachers and Teaching Artist will link social studies curriculum of communities at home and around the world exploring folktales and dances from 7 continents.
- Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. & CS 154-The Harriet Tubman Learning Center: Renaissance Master School
- In partnership with C.S. 154, the Harriet Tubman Learning Center, the Apollo's Oral History Project leads fourth and fifth graders in a two-year sequence of interviewing neighborhood elders and transforming their life stories into creative projects in theater, music, poetry and the visual arts.
- Behind the Book & JHS 13-Central Park East Middle School
- The Dave at Night Program is a multi-discipline study of the Harlem Renaissance which intertwines literature, history, creative writing, visual art and music. The students will conduct close reading of the book Dave at Night written by teaching artist Gail Carlson Levine and create personalized reading journals with collage technique taught by teaching artist Barb Korein.
- Capoeira Center of New York, Inc. & New Design High School
- Capoeira Center of New York will provide arts instruction to at-risk students at New Design High School in Capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian martial art and dance, which incorporates various percussion instruments and singing in the Portuguese language, and non-arts instruction to the students about the intertwined history between Capoeira and slavery in Brazil.
- The Children's Art Carnival & PS 368M-Hamilton Heights School
- Children's Art Carnival teaching artists will partner with Hamilton Heights classroom teachers to effectively integrate visual arts into the academic curriculum; core academic subjects will be reinforced through visual arts instruction and close collaboration between CAC Artists and classroom teachers.
- Making Books Sing Inc. & Global Neighborhood Secondary School
- Making Books Sing will partner with Global Neighborhood Secondary School for a project where students will explore the architectural history of New York City through movement, language-based theatre games, songwriting and playwriting activities. In addition to in-school residency sessions with teaching artists, students will view live theatre and attend a field trip to the Skyscraper Museum as part of this inter-disciplinary experience.
- New York Foundation for Architecture & PS 150-Tribeca Learning Center
- Students in grades 2-5 will participate in hands-on art and design activities tailored to enhance their core subject studies - drawing connections between their academics and the built environment.
- Spanish Dance Arts & PS 64
- Spanish Dance Arts will create Project Ole and bring the dynamic art of flamenco to second grade students at PS 64 during a 12-session residency. The entire school will attend a professional performace by Flamenco Vivo and the residency will culminate with a final show by students for their parents and peers.
- Spanish Theatre Repertory, Ltd. & Manhattan Bridges High School
- Students will learn the art and craft of acting and playwriting by adapting a classic Spanish golden age play for their Spanish native language class, consequently improving their speaking and writing skills in their native language.
- Wingspan Arts, Inc. & PS 77-Lower Lab Elementary School
- A Wingspan teaching artist will collaborate with PS 77 school staff to utilize drama as an educational tool to enhance social studies learning. This will be done through the creation and performance of student written materials studied in two social studies classrooms at the school.
