Festival Access Fund

Jasper Just in PERFORMA, a 2006 Festival Access Fund grantee

The Festival Access Fund was designed to harness the opportunities that local cultural festivals provide for individual organizations to access wider audiences than they could under independent efforts. Grants for up to $50,000 provided direct support for festival organizers to present events in partnership with small to mid-sized cultural organizations and venues in Lower Manhattan.

In three years, the program awarded eight grants totaling $172,500 to support the partnerships between 21 downtown organizations/venues and five festivals.
