- The 11th Annual Urban Word NYC Annual Teen Poetry Slam, 11 nights of youth poetry performance, showcasing the talents of more than 500 teens over three weeks, culminating in the Grand Slam Finals in April 2009 at the world-famous Apollo Theatre.

- In partnership with the Women’s Project, CHOICES provides arts education for sexually exploited and trafficked women, culminating in a final production in which the women’s works of art and poetry are showcased in a public forum.
