- Six-Word Salon Sessions, transforming community writing into a half-hour free performance in neighborhoods around NYC.
- Around The Block, Inc.
- Urban Theatre In Libraries and Other Centers, involving 30 training sessions culminating in 12 performances and public readings of at least 12 new urban plays in January through August of 2008.
Ars Nova Theater, Inc. Ars Nova will provide our community of Manhattan artists and audiences the opportunity to engage in creative exchange surrounding the development and live performance of new work.

- CALLE (Creating Artistic Links to Liberation and Expression), a bilingual (Spanish/English) youth street theater troupe that performs original works in and around East Harlem.

- Yanagai! Yanagai! by Andrea James (Yorta Yorta), the Australian Aboriginal Theatre Initiative’s inaugural main-stage productio, a New York premiere at LaMaMa E.T.C., with 15 performances as well as workshops by the visiting playwright.

- In Leave Taking, by Winsome Pinnock, Enith has struggled to bring up her two daughter to live the dream of transplanted West Indians--to become “Little Miss Englishes”--and now must face the reality of life in a different culture.

- Seven 11 Diversity Camp and Seven 11 Convenience Theatre, a show that takes seven 11-minute plays set in a convenience store, and weaves them together for a night that entertains, provokes, and turns stereotypes on their head.
- Fluid Motion Theater & Film, Inc.
- Pious Poetic Pie, the world premiere production of a new spoken word play by Latina slam poet Yubelky Rodriguez adapted from Euripides’ Medea in April 2009.

- The Hudson Guild Theatre Company will present a performance of Three Sisters, targeted to the senior population of Chelsea, as well as a Youth Talent Jam, a series of hip-hop workshops culminating with two performances in June.

- Garden of Delights, the US premiere of the latest work by controversial playwright Fernando Arrabal.
- NY Artists Unlimited, Inc.
- 35 performances/discussions/workshops of Isaiah’s Dream--A Parade of Poets to Manhattan’s children & family audiences, mainly African-American, Latino, and Asian.
- Our Time Theatre Company, Inc.
- Our Time NYC Theatre-Arts Program for Youth Who Stutter teaches the basics of acting, playwriting, singing, directing, and movement by a team of theatre professionals, culminating in six full-scale performances of participants' own plays/musicals.
