- The Ndunga Project, a public art exhibit based on the 12ft tall Congolese masquerade “Ndunga” brought out for the healing of misdeeds of villagers, against themselves or others.

- Visual diaries, photography workshops for people living with illness, culminating with an exhibit installed at the Franklin 54 gallery in the West Village.

- PERFORMA 09, the third biennial of new visual art performance, will feature ten commissions and a three-week-long program of performances, exhibitions, educational forums, public art projects, publications, film screenings, and broadcasts.

- Blind Spot Lab, a series of free public events designed and produced by the editors and artists featured in each issue of Blind Spot Magazine.

- Life After Black: The Visual Journals of Barron Storey, a 7-week exhibit of the visual journals of award-winning illustrator and teacher, Barron Storey, along with a lecture and a workshop on journal-making.
