Artist Residencies
Open Call for Applications: Paris Residency for New York City-based Visual Artist
LMCC is proud to partner again with the Mayor’s Office of the City of Paris (Mairie de Paris), to provide one New York City artist or collaborative pair with the opportunity to live and work at Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, France for six consecutive months. LMCC is currently inviting artists to apply for this special residency. The selected artist will be assigned a live/work studio/flat in Central Paris and be provided with a monthly living stipend.

Studio Museum in Harlem Announces Artists in Residence for 2011–2012
Njideka Akunyili, Meleko Mokgosi, and Xaviera Simmons will be the newest artists in residence at the Studio Museum in Harlem.The twelve-month residency will provide the three artists with studio space on the museum’s third floor, a $20,000 fellowship, and a $1,000 stipend for materials. Their work will be shown in the Studio Museum at the residency’s end.
