55 Artists Chosen to Participate in the 2011 Artists Summer Institute
LMCC and Creative Capital will welcome 55 individual artists to the second Artists Summer Institute (ASI), a 5-Day Professional Development Intensive held at Building 110: LMCC's Arts Center at Governors Island from July 27-31, 2011. The participating artists were chosen by lottery from over 400 artists of all disciplines around New York City.
The Artists Summer Institute offers a unique opportunity for artists to step outside their daily routines and focus on their professional skills and artistic goals. The Institute combines the best of LMCC’s finance for artist program and Creative Capital’s professional development program to provide the training, tools, and advice to help put artists on a path to greater sustainability and self-sufficiency.
We look forward to an intense 5 days on Governors Island!
