Don Pasquale & His Trophy Wife
Underworld Productions Opera will perform "Don Pasquale & His Trophy Wife," an interpretation of Donizetti's 1843 opera buffa, in four free performances on the peninsula of Inwood Park on June 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2012 at 7:30 pm. The opera, presented by Moose Hall/Inwood Shakespeare Festival, was praised by Classical Review when performed in May as "a witty production that combined a gently tweaked storyline with an intimate setting that gave audience members a rare chance to experience opera up close."
