Artist Residencies Swing Space
Swing Space Welcomes New Visual Artists-in-Residence at Building 110
LMCC is pleased to welcome a new group of visual artists to the studios at Building 110: LMCC's Arts Center at Governors Island. Eighteen artists working in a broad range of media begin 5-month residencies on Governors Island in New York Harbor today as part of LMCC's Swing Space program. Artists will be in residence until December 2011 and will present projects in their studios during public events throughout the session, including a works-in-progress presentation on September 24-25.
Fall 2011 Resident Artists include: Louise Barry, Aisha Bell, Karen Bell, Ingrid Burrington, Erin Diebboll, Zachary Fabri, Brad Farwell, Asuka Goto, Valerie Hallier, Luke Haynes, Tom Henry, John Houck, Nicole Manchisi, Katja Mater, Hanna Mattes, Dana Sherwood, Gian Maria Tosatti, and Jayoung Yoon.
