Volunteer and attend APAP NYC

The Association of Performing Arts Presenters is committed to giving performing arts students the opportunity to attend APAP|NYC 2012 from January 6-10, 2012 in New York City. The conference brings together artists, venues, artist management, agencies, lawyers and advocates to develop relationship and share knowledge. With their volunteer badge, student volunteers will have access to workshops, keynotes and special interest sessions on a wide range of topics (music, dance, theater, etc.). The badge also grants access to more than 1,300 showcase performances that are staged throughout New York City. In exchange for 20 hours of volunteer work, students receive:

Student volunteers help at the: · Awards Luncheon, · Bookstore, · Creative Campus; · Events, · Expo Hall, · Conference Info Desk, · Registration, · Set up/Breakdown, and act as · Documentarians, · Session Monitors · Runners.

The artists, consultants, and organizations that join us find a value of $875 in registering for the conference. This is a great opportunity for students to experience the conference without having to pay the price of registration. This conference gives students the opportunity to network with leading arts professionals and fellow students, while learning about the latest trends and developments in the field.
