Ferries for Governors Island depart from the Battery Maritime Building, 10 South Street, Slip 7 (adjacent to and northeast of the Staten Island/Whitehall Ferry Terminal in Lower Manhattan).

Saturdays:
Ferries depart on the hour from 10 AM - 3 PM, returning on the half-hour from 10:30 -5:30 PM.
Free National Park Ranger tours of the Island are also available on Saturdays, leaving hourly from the Governors Island Bookstore.
Tuesdays - Fridays:
Ferries depart at 10 AM and 1 PM for National Park Ranger tours only. National Park Ranger tours begin at the Battery Maritime Building at 10 AM and 1 PM.
Tours provide LIMITED ACCESS to installations.
