Donate Space

Providing temporary space for cultural uses is an opportunity for building owners to keep spaces active during lease transitions. Through LMCC’s Swing Space program, storefronts and upper floors can be used for time periods ranging from a few months to over a year. LMCC’s goal is to serve as the intermediary between building owners and artists in order to activate temporarily vacant spaces. We provide the management and insurance coverage needed to allow these spaces to be occupied on a flexible basis.

Over the past decade, LMCC has worked with a range of downtown building owners and managers to secure temporary space for cultural use, including Silverstein Properties, Sciame Construction, Witkoff Group, Worldwide Holdings, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, General Growth Properties, Collegiate Church Corporation, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

If you are a downtown real estate owner or manager interested in participating in the Swing Space program, please contact Melissa Levin, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or (212) 219-9401 x138.
